Admissions Online

Thank you for your interest in Concord Academy. We serve students in grades 6 through 12 who are experiencing learning difficulties in traditional educational settings due to a variety of physical, psychological, and intellectual impairments. We are a co-educational, non-profit 501(c) (3) organization and do not discriminate as to race, color, religion, sex, or national/ethnic origin in our enrollment practices.

Concord Academy was founded in 1983 by a group of concerned parents who recognized that their children with learning differences were falling behind or falling through the cracks in other educational settings. Our school was established to provide the best environment for student growth in all aspects of development, including specialized academic instruction, post-secondary readiness, and social/emotional intelligence.

Concord's specialized educational program focuses on individualized instruction in small classroom settings with student placement based on ability level and achievement. We nurture each student academically, emotionally, and socially, by offering a modified curriculum and emphasizing strong moral values, personal responsibility, and citizenship. Every student’s dignity and self-worth are recognized and strongly cultivated to build self-esteem, encourage appropriate behavior, and facilitate post-secondary transition. We recognize the fact that education is a team effort, and we expect each family to actively participate in their student’s educational and social experiences at Concord, to ensure optimum success.
